Award Winning New Jersey & Destination Wedding Photographer in Iceland
I’m a New Jersey based wedding photographer specializing in authentic, documentary-style wedding photography for couples who value real moments over posed perfection.
I recently returned from photographing and attending the World Photographic Cup in Iceland, where I placed third in the world in wedding photojournalism representing Team USA. What an amazing experience!

This experience reinforced everything I believe about wedding photography:
If you’re looking for a destination wedding photographer in Iceland or New Jersey, you’re in the right place.
There are places you visit… and then there are places that leave a permanent mark on you. Iceland did that for me.
From the moment I landed, it felt like stepping into another world. One where waterfalls crash endlessly into black volcanic earth, horses roam freely beneath towering mountains, and the sky itself feels alive. Every turn in the road looked cinematic. Every landscape felt impossible.

But what stayed with me most wasn’t just how beautiful Iceland was. It was how it made me feel.
There’s a quietness there that slows everything down. The kind of silence that makes you breathe deeper without even realizing it. Driving for miles surrounded by open land, snow-covered mountains, and untouched scenery felt oddly emotional. Peaceful in a way I haven’t felt in a long time.

One of the most surreal moments of the trip was seeing the northern lights dance across the sky. Standing there in complete darkness, watching the aurora move above me, felt almost spiritual. Just peacful, taking in a moment that didn’t feel real.

As a photographer, experiences like this refill something inside of me creatively. Iceland reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place. Not because everything is perfect, but because emotion lives in the stillness — in the atmosphere, the scale, the quiet moments in between.

This trip also held a huge personal milestone for me. While in Iceland, I attended the World Cup Photographic Competition ceremony where I received Bronze in the Wedding Photojournalism category among photographers from 28 countries. Team USA also brought home the World Cup title, which was such an incredible honor to be part of.
It still feels surreal.

To experience a place this breathtaking while also celebrating such a meaningful achievement in my career is something I’ll never forget. Iceland gave me more than beautiful views . It gave me inspiration, perspective, and a reminder to slow down and truly experience the world around me.
And honestly… I never wanted to leave.
